Morocco

Morocco is an exotic feast for the senses with fertile green valleys and vast oceans of deserts, ancient Medinas to explore and culture to experience. I have been many times and these images were from my first adventure. The gardens of Yves Saint Laurent’s Jardin Majorelle are an oasis in the heart of Marrakech. Sidi Chahed dam is on the way to Fes and the Le Compagnard shop was on the verge of old the road through the Atlas Mountains and has since been demolished to make way for the spectacular new mountain road.

Morocco has history, culture, traditions, great food and fantastic scenery. From the temperate north to the desert in the south and snow capped mountains in-between, surf beaches and fishing villages on the coast it is a land of contrasts and a photographers dream.
